design and rendering work
As a freshman in college, I had my first introduction to computer-aided modeling and design. Having spent much time as a child in art classes and surrounding myself with people who had careers in the art industry, this aspect of art within engineering was enticing to me. Unfortunately, we had only spent a single semester doing this type of work and the rest of my courses throughout undergrad were design-lacking. I found comfort in doing design work and spent a lot of my free time making models of objects I saw around me. Here's a collection of my work:
The Cesca Chair
The Cesca chair is a chair designed in 1928 by the Hungarian-American architect and designer Marcel Breuer. This chair was a revolution in its time and was highly desirable due to its modern and simplistic look. The chair is made of a single-tube frame with back and seat supports. Though this rendition of the chair differs from the original, it follows many of the same principles and results in a sleek and timeless design.
The Fellow Stagg ekg
Fellow products is a San Francisco-based brand that is notorious in the coffee industry for its minimalist approach to coffee. The company has paved the way for high-end consumer products which can be found in cafes all over the world.
The Media Console
This media console was inspired by a youtuber named FourEyes Furniture. As I learned more about additive manufacturing and prototyping, I fell in love with the with woodworking and did a lot of woodworking with my father at home. We often built pieces of furniture to put around the house and looked to YouTubers to reference a lot of our projects. This media console stood out to me due to its minimalistic look and unique design. Since the console is top-heavy, the base was designed
